Good music strengthens the mind and spirit.

Even more so with “Music constructive“

Here you can get an insight into the content of the first two components of course module A free of charge. They consist of digital sheets, an introductory short film and text pages in pdf format to print out and work with. Just start! You don’t need any special previous knowledge. Here you enter the inner world of music and at the same time begin an exciting journey of discovery. First of all, switch on the sound, if you haven’t already done so.

(Teaching example: from an old sound recording with Wilhelm Furtwängler)

Did you notice how the great and world-renowned composer Ludwig van Beethoven begins his ninth symphony with the build-up of tremendous tension, which is then dramatically resolved? This is a very essential basic characteristic of music and will be a recurring theme throughout this course, from the earliest music to 20th century jazz.

Here you will find the text pages for the first two components: MusConstrMAenP2-16. The corresponding summary and supplementary papers are attached to the bottom of this page. These papers can be reached by scrolling and enlarged by clicking. You can return to the website by clicking in the dark surrounding field or on the X of the enlarged paper.

The papers are numbered consecutively at the bottom right. After the third paper there are two buttons for sound examples. They are not related to these additional papers shown here, but only serve as examples for later applications. When you press the button, the window for sound playback appears in a new tab. You have three possibilities to return to the website from there: by closing this tab, by changing the tab accordingly or by using the back arrow at the top left of the browser window.
